No sound limiter No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Small car park right outside access door. ACCESS: Had to get a key from the Porters Lodge then park in the Clough car park. From entrance lobby its approximately 125 yards down a corridor, through two sets of double doors - 1 to pull, 1 to push - until the double doors of Clough Hall are reached. Then its a further 20 yards to the set up area. Set up in the morning with assurance, from the porters, that there would be plenty of parking spaces in the evening. There wasnt one but managed to squeeze in. After derigging and going out the same FACILITIES: Set up underneath the balcony area in the (very ornately decorated) hall, next door to a grand piano. - width available: 4-5m STAFF: A month before the day I checked with the Events Coordinator that all would be OK for morning set-up. It was. A week before I called the Porters Lodge to check all was OK. The person I spoke to knew nothing about it and told me to speak to the events coordinator. I explained that I had emailed already. He said that wasnt good enough and I needed to speak to her. I pointed out that she was away all week so that was an impossibility! In the end I emailed the Head Porter who acknowledged. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Excellent setting. Catering and allied staff friendly and helpful. One even asked for a card!" | |||||||
