"A country house type hotel with very friendly helpful staff. We almost felt as if we were entertaining our guests in our own home (although obviously on a grander scale!). The grounds and facilities and space were just right. We were lucky with the weather and therefore children could play on the lawns. There were ample comfortable sitting areas^ together with a conservatory and a large bright dining room. The food was excellent^ well presented and the dining staff very efficient.
