"Lovely venue especially with the access to the beautiful grounds. Staff very attentive but unobtrusive. Weddings coordinator was extremely helpful and friendly and always ready to meet with us. Few wee mix ups with guests booked rooms but sorted out reasonably quickly. One small gripe. The left over wedding cake was rammed into an ice cream tub making it all stick together so that We were unable to give any to people who had not been at the wedding. All in all a lovely venue for a perfect wedding. " | ||||||

There are no lights in that area. Room enough for one car to turn around at the bottom. Trailers will have to be unhooked to turn around. ACCESS: Ideal. Straight into the suite through the fire-exit doors. FACILITIES: The have a permanent starlit white cloth on the back wall. A dancefloor is placed down in the centre of the room. It is a small room. STAFF: Fairly relaxed and helpful. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required | |||||||

ACCESS: In through the double fire exit door and that is you in the room. You set up about 10 Meters from there on the floor. FACILITIES: On the floor, plenty of sockets in easy reach. STAFF: Nice, helpful and efficient. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Nice room. Set up inline with the dancefloor, not the centre of the room as they sometimes set the dancefloor up off centre." | |||||||

You have to drive around a hill with a hair-pin bend to get to the back door. Not suitable for large vans. I had to unhook my trailer to turn around at the bottom as space is very limited. Getting out of the place is worse. I had to dig away a layer of gravel to get a grip as it was flying up in the air!! ACCESS: Once the room has been cleared the fire-escape doors are opened for access. This is straight from the rear parking area. Equipment can get wet while waiting!! FACILITIES: Just 20 feet from the way-in. No stage. STAFF: There was a fight at a wedding their last year so they started placing security on the door to the function room. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The emergency lighting cannot be switched off so lights are wasted in this venue. It is too bright all night. " | |||||||
