"Once the DJ booking was confirmed and deposit transferred by ourselves (1 month before the event date) we received an email acknowledging that they would check the bank account for the deposit and confirm the event to us. Unfortunately this did not happen. We chased the DJ by email 2 days before the event and still did not get any reply (neither email or call). Finally on the morning of the event we contacted the DJ several times by phone and initially we could not get through but left voicemail messages. By 10am we started looking for a backup DJ. By 10:30 however we received a reply by phone confirming it was all set to go as originally planned. At the party whilst organising games there was no music at all. The silence did not help create the right atmosphere. Overall the quality of service was satisfactory especially the quality of the equipment and lights. However the communication problems did create a lot of apprehension."
