Since 1994 I have provided a reliable, friendly service, catering for every kind of function, my aim to make each party a memorable one, for the right reasons!
Adult functions: I use a large set of equipment with professional sound system, and modern lighting, which includes mood effects for wedding disco's, to give that extra romantic touch. Requests are taken at the function, and advance playlists are welcome also.
Children & Teen parties: Half of my disco's are for under 18's, using a DJ booth, or scaled down version of the adult system, T-bar stand and colourful lighting with lasers. I Interact with games, competition and party dances, all tailored to the ages attending. Sweets, prizes, 2 parcels for 'Pass the Parcel' and balloon swords (inflatables for teens and cooler competitions) are included in the fee.
School discos: I work regularly with a number of schools, usually time is more limited, but I squeeze in some games, the dancing competition always features, and some limboing for older children and teens. In between I play suitable, clean popular music and accept requests.
I also have the mascot character Olaf, from the film Frozen, for a small fee, he will make a guest appearance and stay to play and pose for 30 minutes. He is popular with infants and regularly appears at Christening parties and Christmas discos. (If you are interested in an Olaf visit, I will check his availability at the time of booking.)
Required by many venues, Scorpio Mobile Disco has a current PLI policy with AMP DJ in the amount of £10 million.
Also required by many venues, Scorpio Mobile Disco has supplied satisfactory evidence of holding current PAT inspections of their equipment dated within the last 12 months.
A Method Statement outlining Scorpio Mobile Disco's Health & Safety procedure for setting up disco equipment has been provided.
Scorpio Mobile Disco has provided Risk Assessments undertaken at events sourced via needadisco.com, indicating that they can undertake these competently.
